Technology on Premises is a privately owned corporation organized in September 2000, under the name Haden Group, LLC, with funding originating from private individuals. Haden Group quickly developed into Technology on Premises and has evolved from a small computer support provider to one of the largest full-service information technology and managed services providers in the New York Metropolitan area. With our growth, we embraced the concept of providing businesses more than technical support, by completely removing technical worries from our clients' daily business activities. Technology on Premises develops long-term partnerships with its clients in an effort to better understand their business needs. We leverage our past experiences and industry “best practices” to design solutions to meet the individual needs of our clients, regardless if they’re a large organization or a small company. Technology on Premises works to set realistic client expectations and to achieve the highest possible levels of client satisfaction through first-rate network architecture, maintenance and technical support. James R. McDonald, President Mr. McDonald is business, all business. As the President of Technology on Premises he oversees many aspects of the business including customer service, operations, marketing and sales. With his extensive background in managing and selling products and services in the business-to-business arena, he has helped grow this organization into a premier computer services company with hundreds of customers, an outstanding management team and a squadron of IT professionals that are the cream of the crop in their respective fields. Previous to co-founding Technology on Premises, he was Associate Publisher/Director of Property Marketing for the Costar Group, where he transformed the multimedia advertising division into a multi-million dollar organization and grew personnel from two to over fifty.
Mr. McDonald also has a background in financial services, as well as business-to-business services, including corporate moving and relocation services, real estate contract publishing, corporate electronic security services and office supplies. Christopher Berger, CEO Technology on Premises co-founder and CEO Chris Berger brings his deep understanding and practical experience with complex computing and networking concepts to the projects he has implemented and supervised across a broad range of businesses and technological challenges. Prior to launching Technology on Premises, Chris was a Consultant for Siemen's Business Services (formally Entex) a globally-based IT Services Company, where he divided his time between client projects and UNITY, a national-level technical and research team. As a member of UNITY, he provided solutions and research to a variety of complex industry issues. In addition, he authored a weekly national newsletter that focused on the latest innovations in technology and the computer industry. Chris Berger studied computer engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology, and computer programming and systems at the University of Rhode Island. He is knowledgeable about network design, implementation and administration and stays current with the rapidly changing computer industry environment, participating in numerous training classes. Greg Melli-Jones, Director, Operations Since August, 2002, Greg has been TOP Director of Operations, responsible for managing, scheduling and dispatching TOP engineers to clients. He sets departmental policy and procedures, provides guidance and training for the field engineer staff as well as following up with clients to ensure that they have received the best possible service. In 1998 Greg became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Trainer where he worked as the IT Manager of the ENTEX (now Siemens) Manhattan office. Greg managed the Entex network, local help desk and a team of engineers. Previously, Greg worked for Universal Television as a production assistant and script coordinator for the TV shows "Law and Order", "New York Undercover," and several network pilots. Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities Rudi Ehrlich, Director, Projects As Director of Projects, Rudi manages all aspects of client projects, bringing over seven years of IT project management experience to Technology On Premises Throughout his professional career he has developed core competence in Network Infrastructure, IT Network Management and Telecommunications, allowing him to deliver powerful solutions to help customers communicate more efficiently, create additional profit centers and, through the impact of technology, reduce expenses at the bottom line. As a conceptual thinker, Rudi is skilled at identifying business challenges and leveraging his expertise in Information Technology, Communications and Project Management to build reliable business computing environments. Prior to joining the TOP team, Rudi played a key role in the build-out and management of a large metropolitan area network in Los Angeles, California, where he managed product roll-out, customer care and individual building profitability across multiple Real Estate portfolios. |
